New Website Design + Development
Overview
This project transformed a real estate broker’s digital presence from a single social media platform into a fully realized, professional brand ecosystem.
The goal was to establish credibility beyond Facebook while creating a website that actively supports lead generation and property discovery.
I designed and developed a custom website featuring searchable MLS listings alongside prominently showcased broker managed listings, making it easy for visitors to explore homes without leaving the site. To ensure the experience felt cohesive and memorable, I also created a complete visual identity. This included a modern logo and a refined color palette, designed to reflect trust, expertise, and approachability in a competitive real estate market.
The result is a brand aligned website that positions the broker as a serious, independent professional, improves discoverability, and gives clients a seamless way to browse listings, connect, and convert.

Design + Development Process
Research + Exploration
The project began with competitor research to understand the landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation. This helped clarify how to position the brand and website within a competitive market while aligning with the client’s goals.
Next, I focused on content development and information architecture, defining the site’s navigation and page structure. This phase resulted in detailed wireframes with body copy and image placeholders, allowing layout and navigation decisions to be guided by content and user needs rather than visual styling alone.



Brand Design
With the structure established, I moved into visual direction and brand development. This included creating a mood board to capture the overall tone and personality of the brand, followed by logo refinement, typography exploration, and color palette development. These elements worked together to create a cohesive visual identity that felt both modern and timeless.
Once the direction was approved, I created full-fidelity mockups, applying the finalized brand elements to the wireframes and incorporating imagery. These mockups allowed the client to clearly visualize the final experience and provided a strong foundation for development.
Web Development + Integration
After approval of the full-color mockups, I brought the design to life in Squarespace, ensuring the final build stayed true to the approved layouts while remaining responsive and easy to manage.
A key component of the site was the integration of third-party MLS software (Buying Buddy). This required custom code injections, generating a Google Maps API key, and embedding widget code to enable full functionality. Features included MLS listing search, featured properties for sale, and recently sold listings—allowing users to explore real estate data seamlessly without leaving the site.
